Today, i saw few topics selling RapidShare premium account with a price as low as rm 19. Just to let you know, those people are not the real reseller since you can check from RapidShare website it self:

There is no bad intention from me since was asked. The reason I'm telling you this is just because i was cheated in the same way BUT not here. RapidShare itself giving the Premium Accounts RM35 (1Month) if you purchase with Paypal so quite impossible to sell it only RM19. I was asked by another respective user that "what is the problem if they want to sell their points?" Of course there is no problem but as far as i know, you are not able to sell your points and it can be redeemed just for your account.

I have check the pricing and believe it is quite high but maybe if all of us contact them, maybe they do reduce the price. By the ways, i did contact them but they wont listen to one...

this is true. they are selling converted points. no harm in that, some sellers have sold hundreds, and sales ares till coming in.

just like if i have a large karipap and i can't finish it so i sell half to you
maybe u don't need half a karipap coz u have the money to buy a whole karipap
but if a karipap costs rm35, if i'm craving for a karipap and don't have the money, i'll buy half a karipap

What you say is true. You can buy but my point of telling is they are saying we are the reseller but they are not! So as my first post, i also was cheated like that. So far those are not the only people who sale rapidshare account and many other people also sell for profit. It's just the luck to get the right person

The thing is if you don't even wanna upload or download a file, even rm19 is a waste but anyways, legally you cannot sell your point and logically it is not possible. no harm but your money maybe lost (I just said Maybe, not surely). Furthermore, you cannot share your account details with anybody and if rapidshare notice that, will suspend your account.

Yup. they are not. and they cannot sell part of their account. How can you do that else than giving your own user id and pass? Rapidshare simply can cancel your account if they get to know you are sharing it with a group or even 1user. so both of you (i mean seller and buyer) will lose their money. But the matter is IF rapidshare notice. Isn't it?

im still curious how u got conned....i've been buying RS account from LYN seller for the last 8 months and still not facing any problem with them

You are right. It's just luck. I bought my first rs account using this kind of ads which i could use it only 20-30 days and i purchased for 1 year, so i lost la my almost 150+. The reason making this post, because i just bought my new account using the new reseller and i was happy with it so maybe was helpful for some people maybe not but i hope it was

So far what i know in rapidshare account and that reseller website, cannot. i also read it in some forums which they mentioned cannot give out your id and pass or they will suspend you. but if you are sure, let me know how is it actually. In my rs account, there is no place to share it or sell it. Or maybe i missed out. But im 90% sure it is against the rapidshare rule. but i can try ask rapidshare support to make sure and will get back to you as soon as i get answer.

to be honest..i rather buy directly from paypal or other person that i know rather than banking it to the site..eventhough its official reseller.the website look so unprofesionnal..i was thinking like payment gateway,registered company..atleast FPX gateway..

but it juz merely instruction to bank in to this account[foreigner summore even its based in Malaysia] but without a good rating..i wouldn't rather blindly banking it to sumone dat i didnt know

Thanks for your reply. Yes, i agreed but the matter is just for those who don't have Paypal or credit card. Anyways, rapidshare wont waste their name by giving the resell right to any website or company who cannot be trusted. The site does look unprofessional but it's just the beginning. Hopefully will be better.

Yeah! the points are actually gift from Rapidshare to thank the buyers. Buyers can redeem their points to extend their account. If i'm not mistaken, for each 10.000 points we have earned, we can renew our account for extra one month. Rapidshare will give 8000 points with every purchase of 1, 3, 6 and 12 months.

talking abt law, 90% of RS account owner is above the copy right law ......
so ban RS will be a good solution ....

forumers who r selling those u consider "fake" accounts r juz trying to earn extra income here.if u feel dat buying from them makes u feel insecured then u should find those sellers wif a good reputation since they r well known for selling rs accs here,some can even provide u the acc login details b4 u bankin the money to them provided u can b trusted but anyway dis is juz my opinion

No one is being conned in this. It's just like.. Those people who are selling in-game currency of online games. Or those that are selling game accounts. It's not ethical but it's still not against the law.

TS is just trying to tell us about these fellas who gained from all of this but exchanging points to a month account and then selling it to us instead. Their cost might be zero or close to zero since all they have to do is upload a file.. Let people download to get points. Then change points to account and then sell the account to you. Tada.. Free money. It's kinda of an exploitation IMO.

I was once bought a 3 months RS account (not frm LYN forumer) and twice get this meesage. The seller give me a replacement account but i just curious what i've done to get banned. I dun share the account with anyone.. Since that i bought my account frm paypal and for the last one and a half year, never get such message or my account being freeze though sometimes i'm sharing the account with my brother at my hometown. ANyway, i believe most of the RS seller in LYN is a genuine seller i.e using collector's points to create a new 1 month account. Furthermore, besides the old way i.e upload files and get someone to download it, now it's not difficult to collect point coz got software that can expedite the process of collecting point .

eemm i buy rapidshare account for download only...no need point. so i think i not so illegal to share with other people..correct me if im wrong

I really dont understand why they sell so expensive.
it is not only them, but nearly all RS reseller around the world sell RS premium between RM 44 - RM 60.
RM 44 - RM 32 (standard paypal price) = RM 12 (pure profit)

I already contact RS about reseller price and you know what...the price for reseller is RM 30 only.

How about for those interested in selling their own RS account which is not used anymore.

For example, as for myself .. I will buy an account for sometime just to use and that account will sleep at my usb drive if its not used and I would most of the time sell it off for a cheaper price for those interested.
