Hi I looking for Belkin series modem and I want to get the model 9630 G+ MIMO Modem Router.
The price at lowyat is 350rm-359rm, if trade an old modem/router (T&C?) rebate 80rm.
Firmware version : ver5.000uk

Ask is this model good and how long does the MIMO/G+ coverage limit? because i heard people said the Belkin modem firmware gives a bad bug and no new firmware that fixed the bug is available on the web but the advantage is lifetime the warranty. =/

So any1 who using this model can give me a comment? Plz give me a reply cause tomorrow I gotta to buy it ><

I'm using it, the coverage is 1000ft(around 300M) as stated in the manual book. So far using it, quite satisfied la, very reliable signal, no signal drop.
Copy 4gb file through wireless with ease. The problem is dont thought G+Mimo speed is 108mbps, it is using 54mbps, dont know why.

I'm not too sure whether this might be the case. But I THINK (in the case of wireless b and wireless g mixing) when a wireless b client connects to a wireless g network, the wireless network will revert to wireless g speeds, which isn't good obviously, but that's the way it works as far as I know, so no sure whether if you're using a 108mbps connector to connect to your router? Btw...does it say that the router is 108mbps anyways?

As for he Belkni wireless G+ MIMO router modem, I haven't heard any problems regarding it. I'd probably buy it if I had the money, hehe. Belkin supporter!

I'm using belkin router as well. No problem so far. G+ MIMO can give me 5 bar signal when I'm in my room where my router at living hall. My previous G oni gimme 3 bar signal.

G+ is 108mpbs max by best effort. But it still depends on ur wireless card. It didn't go that high, but I can assure the signal is truly stronger and better.

I'm using G+ adapter too. Yet still 108mbps could not be achieved. U're using it with 108mbps?

I'm using the Belkin G+ MIMO F5D9630 too but unable to access few secure website such as hotmail.com, microsoft.com, etc... I wrote to Belkin technical support and they suggested few options for me to troubleshoot.

1. Change the idle time to 999.
2. Change the MTU to 1400 (originally 1432)
3. Change the UPNP to "ON"

I tried all the above but problem still persists, have anyone encounter this problem b4? Should I upgrade the firmware to solve the prob? TKS!

i am using the same model, but do not encounter such problem before. have you tried getting the latest firmware? it should be 5.00.15 if not mistaken. other than that, try googling, i've found a few site that discuss on the same problem, cant remember the sites though.

anyway, does anyone here encounter any lag spikes while gaming?
