p/s: my gc dont even supports dx9

i downloaded it... den accidently extracted loads of them into Program Files. And I found that its all .rar files.

How to use them anyway? Sorry I'm noob in computing

There is setup around the rars. Click on it.

extract and run dxsetup.exe

Do i need to update my DX? Currently is DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

I saw many people using DX 10, is it more better than DX 9, does it support all games and software?

Just update your DirectX to the latest version. You won't screw up your system by doing that.

Since you're using DirectX 9.0c, I'd assume you're using Windows XP. You won't be able to use DirectX10 since it's exclusive for Windows Vista. It has more features than DirectX9.

Vista is listed as one of the supported os. but the version of the program is Version: 9.24.1400. is it DX9 only?
any vista user that have install this?

im using and i have installed latest directx 9.0c

no problem so far with gaming =)

cause some games doesnt run with current directx 10 inside vista.

dx10 onli on vista

so, if use the dx10 GC in windows XP system, what will happen..?
it is the GC not fully perform..?

there is custom made dx10 for winxp...but is NOT offical..so instal at ur own risk

why mine didnt have dx version like others ya? directx9(bla..bla..bla)

There is no DirectX 10.1 yet..
Even now i'm using Vista Service Pack 2 (Still in Pre-BETA stage), my DirectX still 10.0 only...
