Do not upgrade your stuff at PC fair. The price are jacked up. You can get lower prices at lowyat, which is just 15~20 minutes walk away from KLCC. PC fair is just a stupid excuse to sell PC parts at rich ppl who have too much monies. And PC Price are at the highest during the PC fair week. Want better deal? At least 2 weeks before PC Fair and 3 weeks after it. Those are the times when prices drop rock bottom

You cannot externally view your own character during play unless you taunt or die, though turning on sv_cheats during demo playback and using the thirdperson console command may work.

Ok la, so he was unbalanced before this, but I was expecting a +25hp bonus instead of a +50. For now, I have not much incentive to use the backburner, considering it's crit detection is slightly broken.

It's now as balanced as the Flak Canon in UT3.

Reuben did u update the server or is it glitched? Cuz I killed an enemy killing myself in the process, it didnt give credit to the one that damaged me.

I played on other servers, it does like this:

allen <Rocket> <n00b>
<n00b> <Rocket> finished off allen

If the server wasn't updated you wouldn't be able to join. I have a feeling this new change does not penalize where you kill an enemy and yourself at the same time. Cause it's not as if you want to kill yourself.

I think it would count let's say you kill yourself without anyone hitting you at the time. Just my thoughts. Very unlikely to be a server prob and I think my interpretation makes sense. The fix is meant to prevent peeps from denying kills by killing themselves before the other person can finish him off. But it shouldn't penalize genuine shots which happen to kill yourself in the process.

Hmm, it should still credit the guy though, as the bugfix states that "Players killing themselves will now give a kill credit to the last enemy who damaged them"... maybe there are pre-requisites? I dunno.

Oh yah, for the blog graphics, if you need me to spice it up a little with screenshots and stuff let me know.

Think its more geared for pyro kills. Eg : You killed the pyro but you are burning up with 10 hp left...rather then giving him the kill...you blow yourself up.

Anyway, speaking of PC Fair I just remembered I've a full day of appointments tomorrow therefore can only attend in the weekend Better go earlier in the morning to beat the crowd.

And, not all prices are jacked up. Some shops just follow similar prices from LYP then charge cheaper. The only time as many say the price dips is the last day as they're closing coz everyone too lazy to bring back their stock. LOL!

I haven't tried the new point reward system for self kill yet. But Reuben said did make sense. But maybe if 2 different players damaged you, and you suicided (not fall off from a height) then they'll award the point to the most recent person. Well, that's my take.

p.s: I need to collab more with Lexi. Couldn't really sync with him last night in training.

Actually prices at lowyat will be cheaper during the weekend. And like I said, they are already jacking up prices 3 weeks prior to PC fair, so even IF the prices are the same, it's still higher than what you get during non PC-fair week. I worked at Lowyat before, and this statement is not baseless.

Right got an update. Main switch failed. Being replaced with a temp one at 10 to 11 pm tonight.
