it depends..For me it's worthy..Coz together with the lastest plugin,some games will run fullscreen already

hi, psp newcomer here.

one question though, is it for metal gear solid portable ops, the menu buttons layout is different from other games? like the 'X' is 'go back' instead of 'O' like in other games? thanks.

Yep.MGSPO is like that.Fyi,u can set ur O as enter and X as back in XMB(while u r not playing game) in recovery mode.

hi guys, need some help for phat psp firmware update
my sis currently using 3.52 m33(forgot which release), she want to upgrade to 3.90 m33
so can i just download the 3.90 m33 and the original 3.90 and just run it? or i need to go thru some process?
besides that, i notice some save game will be affected, so how do i protect those save games?

save game affect? it won't be affected. yes, u can update straight from 3.52m33 if i can recall if u scare it's corrupted, jz back up the save folder.

i'm afraid the save game will be corrupted, cause before i buy my slim psp, i was playing FFCC on her psp, i copy the save file to my psp and it doesn't work, i googled around ppl saying different encryption due to different version, tried to use plugin to decrypt it also not working

anyway, any phat psp user want to confirm the steps?

i use phat... better use fully upgrade... hav no problem when updating from 3.03 to 3.90 + add on kernal..

Well, impossible. 3.90 firmware requires at last 3.52 and above to update

the term fully upgrade means upgrade it step by step.. 3.03, 3.4,3.5, 3.7, 3.8 n 3.9...by doing this,all the bugs are fixed... do i have to explain more???

BTW... now days u can theoretically upgrade it directly to 3.9 using ultimate Pandora V4... a lot of thanks to DA n his team!

hey my brother's psp always hang while playing certain games... is the firmware problem or what? currently 3.90 m33? does upgrading the firmware helps?

define hang? the game just freeze and then reboot?

for CFW3.90++ users, did any of you successfully utilize music.prx in-game mute? Or it wont work..?

juvenile86: if u are using 3.90 m33-2, some game cant be played using m33 driver (example harvestmoon inncent life).. so change it.. open vsh menu> umd iso mode change to sony NP9660...

if u are using 3.90 m33-3... there are certain types of fonts deleted... example Korean.. giv respond after trying this

im a nood at 1st i got the psp yesterday and i update the official firmware 3.95, then i tried to play game then cannot, and i try looking for answer and i only know that i cant play game right from the memory card then i know that i need to custome something,

can u help me what to do so i can solve my problem really need help
