i have been watching some real serious modding going around from last year and finally decided to do one myself.

haha...
that saw i borrow from my father...
he work at the construction site... but sometimes he need to use it so i need to think of another way to cut the material.

hmm .. interesting .. I wonder how you would joint the acrylic pieces ..

can't wait for how it would turns out to be ...

if joint using cloroform not enuf strong ah bro?or the other liquid forgot wat its name..

Try to use silicon gums.

gums is a nice idea also but it would be messy...

silicon gum?izzit like the aquarium gum?

went to few hardware stores last few days... cant find the suitable bolt and nuts

back to the modding...
holes are drilles onto the pices...

U sure u nvr mod before . . . just see modding web's can produce such superb results .Its damn good lookin . . . really cant wait for the final setup.

Anyway my suggestion to you is don't use full transparent acrylic because it exposed too much of internal detail and the frame that u used to support the case...

another tip is since u would be using bolt and nut for the side fins ...

it would looks awesome if u polished it ... make it shine ....

i am worry about the same thing... the problem is that those are cheapo nut made of steal. it started to rust even before the case is finished... and that mean i cant have it polished...

@TS,

now thick is the acrylic you used?
just can't imagine after you install the mobo and PSU, the
back plane (which is also acrylic) will be collapst.
maybe you should look for additional support at the back plane.

for bendin arcylic u can use lighter or candle bro

my arcylic is 4mm tick... wow.. this thing is darn expensive... the 5mm one is out of budget





haha... i using the stove to bend... 1st time i bend, i melt the whole thing...

Another method of acrylic bending is usig iron, read it from bit-tech.net

at 1st looks like a casing we can easily buy at shops. but damn... keep up d good work bro.

i also thinking to get cheaper gadget from hypermarket (like Giant), saw 1 set sold at RM120 something (include jigsaw, grinder and drill), but dun know can last for how long after use it, coz seem that many of modders sacrificed a lot money to buy a branded 1

if im not mistaken, last time uncle ianho also used cap ayam power tools but he used branded bits and blades on them
