bhaskar, thanks for testing. Singapore proxy will show it's value when ISP does not have sufficient capacity to support the subscribed rate.

Here is my speed test result using TM a few days ago.

The next target is to do some testing during nighttime, e.g. peak Internet usage period for retail ISPs.

I think Jaring users do not feel any difference using this Singapore proxy because of extra hops between Equinix Singapore data centre (location of this Singapore proxy) and Jaring network. Routing is done thru Tokyo See screenshot below:

Speed were noticeably better on Maxis broadband. I was able to stream youtube without problem and able to bypass most of Maxis' restrictions and their QoS. One thing i am reluctant is the reliability of the proxy here. i am wondering if person's data are being stored and kept. How about our information. I am certainly sure that all our information will be passed through the proxy first. Other then that its superb.

prasys, thanks for testing. Please post your result. Regarding your privacy, it is the same situation for using ISP. They know what you are doing if they want to know. If you are really serious about privacy, connect to a proxy using SSL or use VPN. Use SSL between your PC and final destination/site . Internet is not a single network. It is consisted of a number of interconnected network which promise to exchange traffic, e.g. all traffic is passed through other people's network.
