It's still play best on the PC..

FPS = PC
Nothing beats the combination of mouse and keyboard when comes to FPS ..
fevercrash
what kind of game is it? Another first person shooter game or arpg game?
kalnet
If they have added features in it then i'll buy it...again.hehheh...and its an FPS.

BioShock on PS3 Confirmed

user posted image

Like you didn't see this one coming -- BioShock is officially bound for the PlayStation 3.

"We can officially confirm that BioShock is in development for the PlayStation 3," a representative for 2K Games told IGN this morning.

The rumor that everyone's been chewing on since the first-person shooter landed on the Xbox 360 last year has also been confirmed in an EGM interview with Jordan Thomas, the creative director stepping in for Ken Levine. 1UP.com reports that the article, which appears in the July issue of the magazine, reveals that BioShock should be appearing on your black beauty for the 2008 holiday season.

An official statement from 2K is expected soon.

Who knows there might be support for keyboard/mouse brows.gif
slickz
granted, yes mouse and keyboard can beat the speed and precision of aiming of a gamepad. Coming from me as a gamer who practically grew up playing FPS on a keyboard and mouse, playing on a gamepad is a nice change, it makes FPS feel new again.

Only frustration is you tend to have a harder time responding to an attack from behind. A quick flick of your wrist gives u some fighting chance, but not with gamepads. It works both ways though, you also get the advantage when attacking from behind. So it balances out pretty much.
aaron5829
anyway.. those who have played it.. what makes it so great ?

people say HL2 (orange box) is awesome..

But i can safely say, i got bored with it, didnt even bother to finish original hl2, forget about EP1 and EP2...

If i hated hl2... will i like this one ?
snipersnake
Bioshock = yes

FIFA09= yes

Bioshock is different from HL2. I like Orange Box for TF2 tongue.gif Couldn't be bothered with HL biggrin.gif

Bioshock is great as it has a good plot (solid at least) and good character design. The setting for the game is also interesting, how many underwater cities games do we have?

Like Uncharted, it feels like you are playing a role in a good movie.

Played Bioshock on PC, Great game la! Love it so much i've played through a few times already! Good story and good action! Feels very original.... having said that i dont think i'll get one for PS3 la... like some of you mentioned, FPS best on PC. Might try FragFX when got spare cash la.

Well, if you have a gaming mouse and a favourite keyboard, then XFPS is the way to go. And if you're not that particular about a mouse and dont need a keyboard and prefered the analog sticks... get the FragFX smile.gif

Hope that answers your question. smile.gif

EDIT: I might wanna add, the FragFX mouse is not responsive at times and it's very inconsistent. Sometimes, it moves fast, sometimes it moves slow... But it gets the job done and a slight learning curve, especially the "action buttons".

I guess that's why XFPS is more expensive.

In terms of storyline and how everything gels together, you can say its Uncharted FPS. Just no fancy cutscenes like Uncharted la. The story progresses in lil radio clips as you go along.

Haha no MP, might I suggest renting it? *psst*ooj commission! tongue.gif

Ahhh.. i'm on a thin line here. Part of me wants to give this game a try as it's scores are really high, another part of me hates sci-fi shooters, and after watching some gameplay vids... i dont think i'll like it...

Arrrgghhh..

Anyway, when is it out ?

already played the x360...not a very good game anyway imo.

BioShock 3 Announced

Speaking to investors in a quarterly financial conference call today, Take-Two Interactive chairman Strauss Zelnick confirmed that plans exist for a third BioShock game, which will likely coincide with the release of the Gore Verbinski-directed film version of the game franchise.

At the tail end of the call, when asked when Take-Two expects the Verbinski film to hit theatres, Zelnick responded, "Its unlikely the picture would be released coincident with BioShock 2. It's more likely it would be released coincident with BioShock 3."

It's been less than three months since Take-Two execs officially confirmed its plans for BioShock 2, which will be handled by the company's new 2K Marin studio. BioShock 2 is set for release in Q4 of Take-Two's fiscal year 2009.

No platforms for BioShock 3 were announced on today's conference call, and there was no mention of which studio will be involved with the project.
