something peculiar has happened. Was testing NAGT earlier and suddenly I get lag...consistent lags like I'm playing an online game when I change mod...lag is gone.

wanted to reserve a Porsche but now...

NAGT at one time made my rfactor crashed and needs a lot of major fixing in order to even load it.

What I did was I remove unnecessary mods, restart pc. And voila magic...

i just delete certain mod. no need so much mod inside rfactor for.maybe not enough swaping memory

ko guna 4GB memory 1000mhz pung tak cukup memory ker GG??? hehehe

What I did is install rFactor lite.
When it's ok and stable, I make a copy of it elsewhere.
I install a mod.
When tired of mod, I delete entire rfactor folder.
The I get a copy of the copy I made and copy to c: again. Same license apllies.
No replays and only one track installed at once also helps.
I click rFactor icon, testing and can be revving the engine within 28 seconds.

lol...like that also can. Registry files won't corrupt or anything?

I was planning to do a race this Friday - 1 hour at Essington in NAGT.

qualifying - 11.00 pm ~ 11.15 pm
warm -up - 11.15 pm ~ 11.25 pm
race - 11.25 pm ~ 12.25 pm

About last nite race, it was a blast, i'm in Porsche from 6th got up to 1st, but on the penultimate lap, run wide and gg won it

erm, just dont know what is going on, this car suppose to be endurance car. but cant stand for 10 lap in nurburgring, blown engine,oveheat , DRB 9 Aston Martin Mara dh ade 'keputihan' after 9-10 laps, mine almost overheat.azrink enjin tcabut, evohahn enjin tbakar.so beware guys. , esp fast long track.

Yeah...i think we can check under upgrades, basically mine was for 50 minutes sprint....(im not sure wuts the damage multiplier just now). There are 6 and 12 hour races (detuned engine) options so that might be it. There are also upgrades for weight adjustments.

Works like a charm so far and I've tried a few mods.

I also did this almost at the beginning when I was new to rFactor, after I screwed up my first license and that wasn't with rFactor Lite, that was with my stable rFactor that was huuuge back then, filled with useless mods, useless tracks and useless replays.

Wah...good good all, utilizing the server although i'm not around. Dont let it sleep at night....lol

Is it? I think you right. But the way this car handle the turns is like no other machine.

I think Viper, Cadillac or cars that drives like trucks are capable of going higher speed.

While corvette and pontiac has a bit of both.


So my suggestion, to be fair if you run to short a track, those with monster engine will suffer a lot. And if you run monza cars like porsche is going to suffer back.

I guess if you have a good car, use less wing to gain top speed. And for those truckers use more wing to get the grip. But obviously you cant gain where the car lacks most by designs.

Hey maybe each person can drive two cars???? Or at some point can change cars???

ok, I've deleted some mods and it seems to be back to normal now. But the mods still show on the "list"....how do I remove those? the RFM files?

for tomorrow's race...what cars are available? Porsche still got?

PCcrazy : yeah, lots of pro's and con's. btw, i hope that attendance will be hi this Friday, at least we can give input for the next season if we do run this mod next season.

AEON, what I used to do to remove mods afterwards was unzip the mod file in a folder on my desktop, open two instances of windows explorer and go at it folder by folder manually.
Seems hard and painstaking but is not at all.
Best way I could backtrack and cleanup.

I have to tried the most difficult car (i think) coz probably it is the last car available for me to choose...

Which is in your opinion the worst car? I never had the chance of a thorough test on all the models. But on a quick glance I like Porsch, Heard that Volvo is good, but never test it.
