You'll benefit from having to meet active people there sharing their words in this forum not to mention getting willing trade partners and being able to relate to our many activities. Kappa is full of us but you won't go wrong going to Epsilon either as there are a solid group there that also appear in this forum from time to time.

Ehehe, that would probably some kind of engine developed for ships. Those ancient times don't have those things but I do remember some old invention called the aerophile (aeolipile?) something similar sounding like that, some kinda thing that operates similar to turbine engines. Other than streamlining the aerodynamics of the ships, build a bigger sail or donate to some ancient wind god to tiup ships all the way, it'd be hard pressed for the developers to think of creative ways to explain new technologies that would able to speed up our ships.

No wor, someone send me 2 bombardiers before. He pissed off because zero'ed' his army before. It turns back because of my battleships.
I also tried sending 1 gyro to nearby town, turns back straight away. After reading through ikariam boards, i found out that gyro ain't a good unit to have based on sulphur/wood/upkeep calculation.
Flying machines should be implemented that way though. Nicer for those who have woods/sulphur to pump.

That's a bad move. Getting more people into your town is an important strategy.
Populations = Gold = Timber = Resources = Armies = Research points = Action points
Without sizable population, your progress will be slowed down.

Thing is without marble i wont even be able to upgrade anything in the future. Those dudes in the marble island near me isnt selling any marble

Use your marbles for the town hall. When you get more people in send them to work on whatever you farm on that island. Trade those and you'd get more marbles than you started with. Ikariam is not a one man game. The forum you're posting on has a lot of people willing to trade -- and yes, most have marbles.

It's better to upgrade the town hall first if resources are available, especially when the population almost reached the limit. I always put the priority on upgrading my town hall more than anything else, and with the increased population I can get things done faster.
I might be able to send another shipload of marbles and wines if you want to. Are you near 3X:2X or 2X:2X ?

If you have nothing to upgrade becasue the lack of marbles and you can't find any trade partners, pillaging other inactive towns is your best bet although many people tend to have small ports in case of raids. Then use your loot to expand your trading post as much as possible, and build up your resources for trading purposes (be careful of raids though).
If all those above fails, you can ask for help here. We'll be more than happy to supply some extra resources.

I remember their name and coor... wait till I get better, I sure wanna revenge.
Now upgrading "Expansion" as taught by herrkolisch, so I can trade for other resources. Otherwise I got too much vines only.

Oh, my. I think there's a conspiracy to bring LYN-e down by first targetting the alliance leader. LYN-e is like a snowballing force and there's a hidden hand to Yamato's perma ban. Weird things.. I saw his coming troops in 1h 57 min.
So I build my army and spend my resources.
After few clicks and few minutes, his army reach and pilleage me.
