Welcome.

Here's some tips and advice -

1. Follow the beginner guide : HERE.

2. Obtain informations about Ikariam : HERE.

3. Register at Ikariam boards and search for sims, tools and add-on. It helps.

<Next step is for someone who have atleast basic knowledge of Ikariam>

4. Don't build your army until you have atleast lvl 12 townhall and a colony. (Unless you get pillaged)

5. Move near fellow LYN players, it helps a lot on resource trading and protection.

6. At early stages, build 2 slingers and find inactives town to pillage, you grow faster that way.

7. Always aim for marble/wine at the beginning. ALWAYS.

Well, i just started back Ikariam after i quitted for quite some time since i notice you guys kinda active in Kappa. I tried making multiple accounts trying to get marble island but failed to so do. Tried almost 10 times and i got fed up so now end up with wine island

My island cord is Tixios[71:94] and its very interesting cause i see a lot of Malaysian cities there like malaysian, johor and seremban but it seems that all of them are in vacation mode.

Hope that i will grow up fast and join you guys eventually soon

What type of error?

They try to prevent the creation of multiple accounts in the same server. Also if your IP has anything to do with an account being banned they will try to prevent the creation of further accounts.

Yeah i know about that but its really a big advantage if i get to start in marble island lol

If not i will surely end up buying marble at cutthroat prices before i build my colony

If one wants to start in another resource island, remember to delete the current account first.

Hee hee hee. I purposely set up my colonies just a bit far outside their group of islands. It will serve useful later to extend the radius of the LYN-e influence when I eventually get accepted. 2.5k more to go!!
