Kaisouki Matsuri 2008
This will be one of the biggest events ever held not just for Manga, Anime and Games Club (M.A.G. Club), but also for INTI International University College(INTI-UC) as well. The event aims to promote Japanese Animations as well as the forthcoming new trend known as Cosplay ( a Japanese subculture centred on dressing as characters from manga, anime, dramas and video games ). In addition to that, we will also be having Japanese cultural performances and games. This event will be a grand scale event as we are inviting guests, participants and also local artistes to attend this one-of-a-kind event. As a result, this event aims to promote Japan’s culture, games, and food to the people here in Malaysia.
The event is split into two sections; one in the morning and one at night. The morning section is mostly on the Japanese subculture which is the Cosplay. It also has competitions such as video games competition, cosplay competition, performances, lucky draw and gundam building competition. There will be a bazaar (pasar malam) at night. There will be game booths, and food stalls. These booths will be set up around the stage floor where the performances will be held at the car park.
