Hi All, I would like to get some advise on getting wireless 3G broadband using USB modem. Im staying in Bayan Lepas, Penang and would only use to surf internet and chatting only. Could anyone provide more info about which ISP to go for betweeen Maxis or Celcom.

For those who are staying in the area that i have mentioned, anyone have tried the speed of the connection. Im staying in terrace house.
Have anyone tried using the internet connection indoor, like example in a shopping complex, the speed of the connection.
Please advise on the matter above. Thanks.

Since you are just a light user , I would recommend you to go for Maxis. At least the user limit cap is 20GB and it should be sufficient enough if you are just using it for chatting and basic surfing

my plan is go buy the usb unit for rm499 then registered celcom rm68 plan.................

But isn't there are a lot of bad reviews about Maxis wireless broadband?
