What type of rechargeable battery did u get. The standard AA-AAA or lithium-ions? got difference wan. the AAs have the XXthousand numbers on them. means u can only charge that XXthousand times. For lithium-ion batteries like the ones found in most modern cameras today. if u've ony charged it 10 times and it stopped working, i suggest u send it back to the manufacturer and complain bout it. Unless u bought it from a diff country and the voltage of our power burned ur battery to smithereens la... :smile:

Lithium AA batteries are 3.7V per cell. We still typically use Ni-MH batteries for 99% appliances.
kennyng, your batteries are probably dead. Did you leave it discharged for days? i.e Connected to torchlight with switch ON for days/weeks?
