Anybody shooting anything for the upcoming wesak day? This thread is open to both videography and photography

Care to share your plans, locations and tips (what to take, etc)

I shot (videography) before at Fo Guang Shang temple last year IIRC. Here's what the place looks like:-

Piccies

No, those were not taken by me. The place was ok. I miss the opportunity to shoot at night but doubt my video camera could handle it. There were some visitors to the temple who were kinda annoyed with me sweat.gif cause they got caught in the crossfire and my tripod was quite 'zhor teng'

When I was there, I did ask permission whether I could shoot the inside of the temple. Outside, nobody seemed to mind. The place is...a bit commercialised I think with stone figurines and manicured gardens.

I was thinking of Brickfields, something a bit more earthy. But my gear is big, tripod and medium sized camcorder. And how is the security of the place?

When and where specifically? Not from KV (though I'm here for quite some time for studies, work).

I have not been to Brickfields before by car. Only by LRT. But I prefer a vehicle because I don't wanna lug my equipment on the LRT.

Where do you guys park your cars?

I also need to find out how to get there. If I am coming from Federal Highway with MidValley on my coming left. Any idea how to get there from that point onwards?
