Think there's too much focus on shooters, or probably FPSs. Don't know why.. maybe cause the developers and producers are trying to focus very hard on the next-gen class of graphics, and the best way is to showcase from a first person point Resistance 2, Haze, Killzone 2,Farcry 2 that parkour FPS etc.

But then again you see games like MGS4 and GTA4 which are really awesome. Gameplay awesome, graphics awesome.

I'd personally like to see more RPGs as well as Co-op (non-FPS) games!

Yes I agree....way too many FPS'. I'm not sure if it's the best way to showcase next gen graphics because I always feel like I don't have a full view of things around me. Apart from that FPS makes me feel pukey. I've always preferred the MGS 4/GTA 4 3rd person perspective view. IMHO you can see more details that way...but that's just me.

RPG games are the most lacking from this generation. FF13 are taking too long. After MSG4 comes out, the sales for PS3 will definitely boost up. They need few more killer games to increased their console sales.

why not the publisher start to re do all the vertical / horizontal shooter back again....

some of the title like Task Force Harrier, Vapor Trail, Tatsujin, After Burner, gun star hero

beat'em up is also a catergory long enuf do not have good titles...
some of the old time arcade classic ie Final Fight, Cyberbots, Sanko Warriror, golden axe... also those title like power stone, Bare Knuckle/ Street of Rage Series...

btw, would be great that have beat'em up feature the KOF & SF charator... and massive online beat them up !!! whhahahaha

but 1 thing, really hate the GTA series ( I know there a lot of FANs out there) , dun understand hat sort of fun is there?
