i really dont like to have led on my casing just for 1 funny reason
I had a bad experience. it happens when i sleep, some bees fly into my casing and sound like CPU cracking, but after i look carefully, a bee flew inside my casing and of course, it died smacking into pieces by fan, after that, no more bling bling stuff again lol...
now that is funny.
too bad no one is selling this fan anymore if not im gonna get 2 for my new hyper 212....maybe 4 for the hyper and my casing.

Question:
Are these fans still for sale in LY?
The fan on my 7 month old hyper 212 is starting to make some noise sometimes. Soemthing seems to be wrogn with the motor and I need to power down and give it a few taps before the sound is gone

. Anyway, I like the fan, and want to get two.

I've had 4 fans with one LED dead. Kinda annoying.

Not to say much bout it but the 90cfm and 19dba both are fake. Many cooling manufactor likes to put up fake data including coolermaster, thermaltake, gigabyte, asus etc. If you are looking for more accurate reading, find the review which test the cooler's real noise and airflow not based on the data shown. Delta, NMB, Nidec, and other OEM fan supplier data is quite accurate so don't have to hasitate. The brand that i haven't find out have fake data is thermalright (as they are manufactoring HSf, but the fan is not specified the specs) and Silverstone (well as it's reputation is their prioty, at least for now they won't do that).

that weird bro..i'm 4 pcs and all running 2000+ rpm...also make 'berdengung' in my CM690

Nov 25 2008, 05:34 PM
mine running at 1800+ rpm only as shown in smartguardian. comparing the cm longlife with the uvnium uvled which is rated at 78cfm, i felt that the cm lose by a bit so my guess is it's around 68cfm (definitely not 90cfm). Just my opinion though

Bought 4 of these fans in september from Zhen Wei, so far no problems, they do caused alot of vibrations, i have to get the silicon screws to kill the vibrations. Its definitely not 90cfm, i recon around 55-65cfm only. I'm having 4 of these together with a TT Smart Fan w/VR Control, 200mm fan and a normal LED CM fan infront. i cant hear a thing from my PC.... its completely silent. I'm sitting like only 2-3 feet away from my rig.
1 fan bottom, intake.

3 fans ontop, output.

Germin S and TT Smart Fan behind

Its definitely not 90cfm, my output TT fan at the back with max @3500 rpm is 90cfm for sure, but it sounds like a tornado. The airflow the CM fan produce is nothing like what the TT fan can produce at max.
