Recently plan of buying a used Double Din Player from japan... But heard that it cant play local FM radio here... Need a FM booster to play it... Some how i heard that after install the FM booster also still the same not very clear...

Wana know hat is it true regading this matter? It can received all station with out any problem? Any other ways / solution so that it can play FM nicely?

If I remembered correctly, japanese FM tuners have different frequency ranges and can't be used here. Nothing can be done about that unfortunately.

yes u can install FM booster.. i heard also that it's not very clear after installing it.. that's why i rely on my trustworthy ipod plug in the FM transmitter to the ipod, tune the frequency to the same as the radio and voila! the song u play on ipod will transmitted to the radio

i just installed fm booster in my pioneer cd player(japan)..no problem for me..loud and clear..when comes to auto search channel is not accurate..have to do it manually..

yea.. it can't.. so i've not been listening to the radio for the past 7 months

U mean ur Z's stock HU also cant use local FM? Izit because import car from japan? So all Z in malaysia also the same??
