We got fanboys here, but we're probably busy with lots of other stuffs compared to the PS gamers.

besides, I like the kopitiam to be a kopitiam. Not just about games, but about lots of other things going on in our lives and around us. BUt not sure about u guys.

If you say Wii has lots of showelware i can still agree but NDS I find it hard to accept lo. Nds really has lots of great games that can cater to both hardcore and casual gamers and the library is still growing.
Haha, ps gamers wont like it if they see this. No comment from me on that matter as everyone has different lifestyle.

Kopitiam is good as a deviation from the usual gaming discussion but if it turns out to be a thread where everyone will first visit it after logging into nintendo thread, there is something wrong edy.

The only reason I never talk about the games is because i dont really talk too much when its single player. As for multiplayer, well sorry to say it, I hate the WFC so much that I dont even want to try it ever again.

Yeah i agree. Wifi multiplayer used to be a hot selling point for me in getting a nds game but as for now, I am better off playing as a single player. I havent used WFC in a while and until there is another big game that incorporates wifi functionality brilliantly, I doubt I will go through the troubles just to get connected to WFC.

Yeah, nds has some problems working with my official Nintendo USb wifi connector too, which will take a lot of time to tinker with each time I try to login to WFC.

If there are walls between the access point and the ds then of course the connection will be bad. Ds is just running on b channel zz.

Thats not the main problem lar. Its the whole system. Friend codes is just plainly a pain in the arse. I really dont mind just having console specific codes. But game specific is just plain ridiculous.

i dun mind friendcode but accessing to wifi is mundance and cumbersome!

Lets just wait for Monster Hunter 3 on Wii.

that's right... ninty forum will be flooded when MH3 is out on wii... that's my only reason i will buy wii in future.. and same goes to my hunting fellas...

i wonder if i will have a hard hard time adapting to Monster Hunter 3 since i never really got into the first two.

i heard ppl say they don't like it cos it doesn't really support single player play or have a real storyline but i don't really think that's the case...
but the fact is i can't really understand the appeal. a bit surprising since i dig anything that comes out of Capcom studios

If Monster Hunter 3 uses the same cumbersome WFC, its still the same problem. Its not the game, its the Nintendo's choice of implementation.

I mean for a company that wants to promote ease of gaming, they are sure not making it any easier for online play. Are they really that daft not to see the beauty of the PSN or XBOX Live?

All I knew is that it sold by the truckload on the PS2 and PSP.

When I heard its coming to Wii, I have to get it. Hopefully its something like Diablo where bunch of guys wander around killing monsters

Same thing also with the resident evil series, I knew it is a good game, seen it but bid my time until it actually comes out on a GC.

The only exception to the rule is a numbered FF series, I got a PS, PS2 and now a PS3 for it.

Heh if you like a game where they tell you the mission is 45 minutes long and they do mean 45 real time minutes, then you will love the game.

I dont think you can exit the mission. So you are stuck there. For 45 mins.

i think black kri can do a good promo for this game, i heard he plays it a lot on his PSP.... (100+ hours?)

but i don't think it's the type of game which u can get a lot outta it if u are not willing to invest ur time and effort, that's just my impressions, i could be wrong....

based on previous mh series (mh1, mhf1, mhf2), u will be given 50mins to slay a monster... some monster are hard to kill, some took less that 5 mins... its all depend on your skill and eqs... and doing quest together with friends will took less time... you just need to slay the monster, not lingering around until 50mins... 50mins is just a time limit..

but considering same gameplay but play with wiimote on mh3, i dont know whether i have stamina to swing2 wiimote for 50mins straight...

its all about grinding and grinding... my mhp2g(latest installment) right now clocked for 200hr and its still long way to go..

I think its more of a diehard fan? Like how you would do anything for your hobby. I saw on TV once, the Anime/Manga otaku was so over that he couldnt afford to buy his own clothes. And even buy his own food. His clothes are given from his aunt and food by his parents.
