what useful features? you buy graphic card to output to monitor. what else you want? iron clothings?

btw, all use same chip laa..performance on same level..
different bundle package, sometime different cooler, sometime pre-OCed..
no bundle, usually cheap..

cos seriously la, GPU = output the graphic to whatever display devices. that's what they're for. what other features are we talking about la?
basically the differences are
1. packaging
2. bundle
3. build components (capacitors)
4. heatsink
5. warranty
put all the brands together - you can't tell which PC is using which brand.

i heard from my friend say asus ok
heh. and which brand NOT OK? even Manli, which is like the opposite end of ASUS also ok what.

heck, the ASUS 3870X2 with me just refused to work too.
all brands also face chances of failure la.
on my side, the brand that died on me faster than ever was EVGA - that also no OCing or anything involved! does that make it a bad brand? no it doesn't. not at all.

kanabalize
May 12 2008, 07:10 PM
the features that i meant was some built in features.
if all graphic cards are same why does almost everyone go for asus.
D-zire care to eloborate further.
Any comments about zotac gc

Check out the bundles when buying the cards, and also the warranty periods if you're planning to keep the card for a while.

like what i said earlier, gc with custom coolers perform slightly better than reference one (original from nvidia)...it runs cooler as well...i prefer brands like xfx, palit and zotac because price-performance wise they are the better ones compares to asus and gigabyte which uses nvidia reference design...

if all manufacturer just using reference board and stock cooler, no different lar.
only 1 thing u should concern, warranty. try to get at least 3 years warranty. maybe asus, gigabyte.
bfg, evga, xfx provide lifetime warranty but i dont know about terms and condition.
