Old flashes won't harm the camera. I've used myjunk's old speedlight too. Ancient!

Hi. what's ur flash brand/model? If its really2 old/not designed for newer slr/dslrs, u have to make sure the flash's trigger voltage is safe for ur 350d.
to make sure, check this site:

gud luck! icon_rolleyes.gif

oh ya, just to add, even tho u can use the flash on ur eos (even if the trigger voltage are high rated for ur eos),in the long term, it will damage ur system.. so, do make sure the triggr voltage is safe. wink.gif

woo.. londa? hmm.gif nvr heard of it b4. i dont think it even listed in the links i gave u. sweat.gif
anyway, u might need to find out how high is the trigger volt for that flash. as mentioned in the web, eos only tolerate up to 6V, and maaayyybee abit until 24V.. more than that, might fry ur circuit. wink.gif

I'm using Canon 580EXII speedlite. The old flash that I've played with is shown above.
