Hai, my name is Mohd Syahmie but I more known as Mie_SSS in the automotive forum heheheehe...
But since I always join convoy and car gathering then I start to learn something...
Photographing.....
Today I'm using Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-S600 and become quite boring hahahaahhahaah...
And I'm looking for DSLR hehehehe so that after this every event / car photo shot my pic become interesting ahahha...

Ok that all for my introduction back to our topic...

Currently I've selected 3 model and brand that suit my budget and as a beginner, I think I don't need a very sophisticated DSLR rite?

The only prob is, I wanna u guy share wit me the best DLSR among my list so that it easy to me to select it and after that I buy u Tea Tarik heheheheh...

Ok my choice is:

1. Sony A200

2. Canon EOS 350D

3. Nikon D40

So guy, let talk about it based on:

1. User friendly
2. Spare parts
3. Accessories
4. Quality
5. And last but not least, 2nd value (who know I'm gonna upgrade later )

For me, best buy = Sony A200

If long term, would suggest to get 350D.

D40 is not recommended as the body is lack of AF motor which is a headache to use old Nikkor lens such as 50mm, 85mm and etc. If you like Nikon, go for D80 at least

Everyone has got an opinion dude.
Sony fanboys will tell u to get the sony
Canon fanboys will tell u to get the Canon
Nikon fanboys will tell u to get the Nikon.
The only answer is to go into the camera shop and try.
But before that. Read reviews. tonnes of them. though they might be berat sebelah abit they're still good for comparing technical facts as in the fast that sony has in-built stabiliser and Nikon has no AF motor. those are simple facts and it's up to u to decide which area u will like to compromise in.

To me I dont mind which brand. I've used Olympus, I've used Nikon and Canon. All are great cameras. It all depend on how u use it in the end. I chose canon in the end is just because there's more lens choice and accessories available. That's it.
