guys is it recommended for a digi user to user hypersim on newer model J-phone 905,906 series?

You have to use hypersim to unlock the phone before you can use it, as far as I know, Docomo J-phones is not that stable if compared to Softbank's..

digi is the least stable operator when it comes to compatibility with the docomo/softbank, according to the digi users here.

would suggest to use maxis or celcom.

Bypass SIM unlock method will not work on locked 903SH.

I tried it before (locked CID73 903SH) and if bypass is used, the phone appears that doesn't detect any SIM card inserted. It shows Insert USIM card.

Not sure the cause and problem.

weird, it seems to be flakey with hypersims, b/c my friends stopped working when he sold it and had to send it to canada to get it unlocked his 703shf. And I tried a locked toshiba 904t softbank branded and it did not want to connect, but let me get into the phone

For Toshiba phones, bypass SIM doesn't works well also as you will need to do CPR for it and very frequent also. The problem you mentioned most probably will be you didn't do a CPR after 1st boot. Besides, you can't use Auto (3G+GSM), if you do so, CPR is required. 3G only mode is not usable also or else CPR again. This problem will occur on software unlocked also if hypersim is used.

That is my experience after testing Toshiba phones with bypass SIM.

good morning reporting in for a while after 2 days of 24hours busy cant even spare a minute to on9 n come in here to lepak XD

me now using maxis "L" pattern sim card on my P905i. very stable network , been traveled around Bukit Jalil Aread to Puchong to Sunway to smart tunnel to kesas highwat to kepong to damansara to bukit bintang, oni experienced temporary "out of signal" n recover back 5 second later.

loving my P905i now specially during call n after call. during call my light illumination freaking attracting ppl because of the Gradiation Light pattern after call n hang up i can see few animation on my screen so nice n girl sure lik the animation because it is so cute

another thing i love my P905i now is the 5.1mp AF cam. so nice although might not up to par of 903SH. Picture taken with my P905i is so clear(still under normal setting). will post some of the pic i taken. 1st time felt satisfied from a phone camera

ok got to go liao. ned to go work now. my life will be busy for 1 whole week coz of nice project handed in last minute XD

hahaha...sam goes to me. many of my fren ask "WOW wat phone is tat(my P905i)?" then i said is china phone then they believe it n ask me where to buy some more XD so i show them bro voda & bro bearbrick selling thread they really become "WOW"

Hmm U-Mobile only 3G eh, so will be cacat if use with DoCoMo phones. I knew someone using 911T with U-Mobile, everything works fine so far (he is using software unlocked version)

thought so, tried a hypersim plus sim on my unlocked 904t, gets to menus, but no connecting. I guess same issue as the locked one i played with.

btw by any chance do you know why the 804sh required a special hypersim for it? I remember seeing something for it on a chinese forum, and I am thinking if the 804sh needed a special hypersim, would that be the one that would work on a CID73 locked sharp. Still find it odd that my friends 804sh works with a china3gpp with no issues and didnt need a special hypersim.

Really weird issues for 804SH as I don't have any problem using bypass with 804SH although it is CID73. Besides, you can even use WAP/MMS functions as long as you got the correct settings. I would say it is fully unlock with the help of bypass for 804SH.

Yup I am using 804sh at this moment, with hypersim and can MMS/WAP also..
