Well , without vpn i can seed but it's hard to connect to peers (i use private tracker)

It gets connected up to 9kb/s then it drops to 0.

With vpn, i can seed up to 45kb/s (I set a limit at 45kb/s to avoid any lag)

I guess tmnet is also throttling our upload via torrent as well...

u can say i am one happy user as well but facing a small problem..

Well...P2P is really good thru this ITunnel and if i am not mistaken surfing is ok.

The only thing i am facing now....somehow it hang my %&^% torrent....

I can still connected to IP but no response on UTorrent or even if if i disconnected the iTunnel...cannot even surf.
it seem all connection hang.

Only by redialling the streamyx,getting a new ip...only then it back to normal.

The last time when i was with another VPN(lowyat)....i can even leave my Utorrent for weeks without the need to disconnected...

Direct download thru premium rapidshare(i am testing now,2 day alreadi), didn't exhibit that type of syndrome.

My Utorrent version is 1.77.....Using TCP/IP Optimizer to reset back to window default setting doesn't work.

Any of u guy facing such problem??

Have you tried to release your tcp/ip limitation? (Winxp limits your tcp/ip connections to only 10 once you upgrade to XP SP2) (make it up to 50 or 100 with lvlord patch)

If you've done that, try limiting global max number of connection from your utorrent. Also try limiting your net.max_halfopen.

I think that might be the problem. I've been using utorrent 1.7.7 too for about 2 or 3 months and with itunnel also but no hang so far. If that doesn't solve your problem, i suggest using the newest Utorrent .

Check your firewall.

IF it's already off, then you have to port forward. If you dont know how, ask nivi. He had this same problem and it's because of his router. If he dont mind, i think he'll help you out

This is not a server. It's a vpn. Your traffic is directed to our server but nothing is saved in it. Here is an example. To access yahoo.com on normal streamyx it goes:

Your computer-->Streamyx-->yahoo.com-->Streamyx-->your comp

with vpn

Your computer-->Streamyx-->iTunnel-->yahoo.com-->iTunnel-->Streamyx-->your computer


So as you see, Streamyx will see you only as connecting to our server and cant see what you're doing beyond that.

Anyways, U will just have to connect to our server via windows Dialup (after connecting to streamyx) and you can start torrenting with your full speed. If you are subscribing the 512k package , u'll have 51~60kb/s or 1mbit package , 100~150kb/s or so on.

Streamyx will not harm you in anyway

And yes it's RM23 every month however we might give some discounts to faithful members..

I mean that package implies to your streamyx package. If you can reach 50kb/s max via streamyx, then you will be able to get the same speed via iTunnel. We only have 1 package regardless of your speed. And there is no setup cost. It's Rm23. No hidden charge

There is no Bandwidth / Download limit. You can download 100GB or 1TB up to your will.
