I'm planing to copy 80Gb of my C drive to an external harddisk

But windows file copy function sucks..
It keeps failing in the middle..




Is there any third-party software that does the job well?

http://www.ranvik.net/totalcopy/ =) Here you go boss. It allows you to stop and resume transfering files. However transfering to your ext hd shouldn't fail. Must be some problem with your hardware.

P.S. The program is old but tried with XP and worked. Vista unknown.
