Yea, it is usually bundled-up within the installation CD, alongside with other software such as PowerDVD software and the like. Personally, Nero application is just plain simple and easy to use.

Nero, Roxio, Ashampoo,Burn4Free and etc. Find it out yourself.

hmm if u want "most" important freeware cd burning tools (eg: u got zero dollar, no internet line, emergency times when u dont have any burning software) then i suggest using the built-in windows burning . super easy to use. just right click ---> send to writer----> viola

if u want commercial freeware softwares, i think u can easily get burning tools cause it's usually bundled with your writer, unless you steal,rob,smuggle etc your writer then i suggest using CDBurnerX http://cdburnerxp.se/

i using nero that come together with my burner...

I bought the laptop and the person gave me nero 7 if not mistaken. And i using vista which is incompatible with vista, correct me if i'm wrong. So now i lasking for suggestion for a free software since my nero 7 cant be use on vista.

help me...i want to know..how to convert avi format to dvd format...recommend software 4 use. and i have a lot of movie in avi format but i want to use by using dvd player.so i need to convert the movie 1st.
