Firstly lets ask this

1) What provider are you using currently (Digi/celcom/maxis) - your mobile phone line

2) if you are using maxis/celcom with 3g activated - do you see UMTS/3G enabled logo somewhere in your phone. it will usually indicate if you are on a 3G Coverage zone. If so , you are in luck and you can use UMTS/HSPDA

just go to you phone setting, try to search network manually. if you have 3G/edge phone, you can see all list of operator in your phone. from there you can know at your place what telco is available to use.

wanna ask, how's the 3g coverage in kajang/serdang area? i know maxis got coverage coz my hp got but how about celcom? i juz wanna know how's the speed. i'm staying in uni hostel, thinking of using 3g broadband. pls advice what should i do, and whether is it worth it or not..

let me answer it for you...i live in serdang area and had tested celcom bb...got 3g but the signal was poor. if in gprs mode it's ok got full bar but connection sucks...
