this new model seems the combination of inspiron and xps.
better spec for this new machine if we compare the stock standard studio 15 and xps 1530.
btw,is the graphic card that dedicated in the studio 15(ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3450) better than geforce 8600m gt?

I think that new laptop Studio 15 is much more cheaper than XPS M1530. How about the performance, which is better if compare both?

not too sure whether international or not but i know is just 1 year but i'm assuming it should cover wherever you are in the world. worst case scenario bring back to Malaysia to claim

. But if anybody interested, i got one spare NEW battery with 1year warranty. So if new is rm400++ i guess i can let go mine at rm300 ?

Yup, will call them up tomorrow
if i not mistaken 1 year warranty just for local warranty (Malaysia) but if you want the international support you has to get the 3 years warranty.

However, i did ask the customer service, was told even your notebook warranty is 3years, yet the battery is only 1year. same scenario like handphone. handset 1year but battery 6mths or even 3mths only.

Guys... now Dell offering the Rm500 rebate. Worth getting now? Or there would be better deal that will be nicer compared to the RM500 rebate?
if you budget is more than RM5000, definitely the RM500 coupon is the best.
PC Fair promo normally they give only for the base spec.
previous April PC Fair, M1530 with spec T7250, 2GB, 250HDD and 8600M GT the price was RM3999.
finally sold off my 1530. guess now no longer member of this thread no more

hey rm500 is quite a lot of discount .. worth it

Guys, which option should i take?
a) 3GB RAM and 200GB 7200RPM HDD
b) 4GB RAM and 250GB 5400RPM HDD
Through what i know, Vista 32-bit utilizes the 3GB only rite So now, i'm stuck between more ram or more rpm's on the hdd... Advices? Can't afford to have the best of both world. So just need the best options.. value for money and performance..
