I don't think there is anything in this world is TROUBLE FREE. So, if you want to buy something, the thing that you must consider is of cause the price and also the services the company provides. I personally think that Dell provide the best services in this business. Not to offense other company but this is just my personal opinion.

There are people who have completely no problems with their M1530 but all of them are somehow missing from this thread now.
Besides, those who have problems are the ones that makes most noise. Those who are satisfied just keep on using their M1530.
At least they will come and fix it.

Of course I knew Dell is the best when it comes to after-sales service, but still I hate the fact that my new laptop will have to be taken apart replace this and that just like an old laptop. Doesnt it also represent that Dell has poor QC but make up for it with good after-sales service?
Not really trying to undermine Dell reputation among you guys but rather wanna understand buyer mentality and Dell QC compared to other brands.

You can see for yourself by the Dell Battery Meter. The AC will not charge the battery when it is above 95%. So lets say you unplug the AC power for a few seconds and plug it back, the battery status is still Idle, unless it gets below 95%. And you can also confirm this by the battery charging blinking blue light beside the earphone adapter. It will not blink when above 95%.
