This PC Fair is mainly for the WCIT 2008 and PSł Exhibition delegates, hence the 'International'. Since its meant for 'delegates', i doubt there would be killer deals.

The floorplan did show some normal PC shops (in darn small booths

) but i'm guessing they would only be selling goods which are fit for you average flight, and is sought after by the average delegate. So no X48 or 9800GX2 i reckon

. Cameras fit into this category well so I'm guessing thats why camera shops get the largest floorspace..

Microsoft chairman Bill Gates is slated to speak at the congress to be held from May 18 to 22 next year, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
Other notables being cour- ted by WCIT 2008 organisers include former US president Bill Clinton, Russian president Vladimir Putin, California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, real estate magnate Donald Trump and former prime minister of Japan Junichiro Koizumi.
The list of proposed speakers also includes ICT revolutionaries such as Yahoo! chief and co-founder Jerry Yang, Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, Satyam chairman Ramalinga Raju, and Wipro Corp chairman Azim Premji.

May 18 2008, 11:53 PM
@yewkhuay,
It's a waste of time PC Fair - can't compare to the one held in April. In fact, I think there were more digital cameras than there were computers.
@MX510,
No HWM promo so don't waste ur time going
@ridzaxidy,
Ur in luck. There's a HP counter so U probably can go check it out. There's also Toshiba & Sony. If I'm not mistaken probably even Dell & Fujitsu but I'm not too sure. HP definitely GOT!

Sure loh expensive.... this international pc fair was organized by the gvt.... so, if don't a pass... u can't enter.... it was meant for companies.... not public... i went there, they didn't allow me to enter... wasting my time.... except for the stupid on hall that was open to th public but u can see only see about 10-15 booths of well-known companies.
next time when i see the same add organized by th gvt... i don't want to go.... so difficult to find a parking around klcc and suddenly when are already in front of the door, they asked for your pass....
