Type of camera/lens/accesories : Preferably compact for travelling
Budget: Around RM1,500
Your Location: KL
Preferable brand : Canon or Panasonic
Type of photography u want to do : Portrait, street, travelling
Any specific models in mind? : Canon 860IS/90IS/970IS or equivalent Panasonic models (FX500/35)?
Any specific features u want? : Vibrant colors, good details, extensive shooting modes, fast response time, Image Stabilising, 8MP and above

I'm looking for a cam that i can shoot with when I travel. Vibrant colors, sharp details and nice depths are very important to me. I thought 860IS was good with its wide angle, until i came across 90IS which looks so neat. And 970IS has got 5x zoom. In your opinion, which one is more favorable - Wide angle or Zoom?

I'd like to try Panasonic for its Leica lens too. Any recommendation? FX500 and FX35 look interesting with their ultra-wide-angle lens.

Need to get it by end of this month, please help me out, guys! Thanks in advance!

Tested 860IS quite a good camera to have it.

I'd prefer a camera with more zoom as some moments when you need it for nearer photo taking, you won't be complaining lack of zoom.
