hi. i gonna buy camcorder next month in KL. so now we got 3 diff media - DVD,HDD, miniDV. which one is suitable for my needs.?
my budget RM1500. going to use it for occasional.family needs.
i read HDD are the best choice atm. is it?
what about brands? sony, pana, canon are my target.

my prev, fav shop are Key Color Mid valley - are they still good or..?

MiniDV's quality is still better than the other two options but DVD and HDD will save you time in terms of ripping/transfer to your pc/tv

DV/MiniDV is still the industry standard though. HDD based will take a lot of space. I reckon DVD too.

You can't go wrong with Sony video camcorder.

industry standard mean? i use for home & family although i know about editing since i m a ex-graphic designer
maybe if i got more times during holiday, i ll edit more by using adobe premier.
& i prefer sony , it s ok?
