One stupid question.... If money is not an issue, or someone want to give you a present of 1 camera body and 1 lense, which one will your dream system?

Can only name 1 camera + 1 lense.

So far the only confussion should be... want to take advantage of the price or not... example; get 1Ds mark III and sell it off later...

Ok... Provided you also cannot sell the system... So is for own usage; be it for shooting or as home decoration.

So which one?

Nikon D3 with 70-200mm f2.8.

Personally I will go for;

1Ds mark III + EF500 f4 USM IS L

Kind of taking advantage of the higher price....

so a D300 + 17-55f2.8 will do for my normal use...

Another D3 wouldnt hurt...
and i'd go for the 500mm VR!
it looks so much cooler than the 600mm! =)

The only concern of Hasselab is the lenses and autofocusing... cannot beat either Canon & Nikon in outdoor....

And thier choice of lenses also limited... like 210 f4 for potrait if I remember well.
