Added on May 3, 2008, 1:28 amCreative Zen supports avi, wmv, divx, xvid, and mp4, etc. This guide is just what we need to play DVD and free videos on it. Just in time for IFA in Berlin, Amazon has spilt the beans on the Creative Zen, their new flash-based portable media player available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB with full color 2.5-inch display, FM-tuner and SD slot.Expect to pay $149, $199 and $299 for these little beasts, which is quite good for such a device. I wonder how Apple will reply to this with their alleged chunky nanos.

tronim, if its like the previous zen: vision units, it will support avi, wmv, divx, xvid, and mp4 at
the very least. most things i download off the net go right onto my vision W without need of conversion. some anime releases (anything by dattebayo) needs to be run through a program like iriverter (which is free and fast) to get it out of whatever audio codec they choose to use.

Added on June 13, 2008, 11:44 pmApple has unveiled a second generation of its iPhone, with support for faster 3G wireless networks. The iPhone 3G adds important features that were absent on the original iPhone. It now has support for AT&T's 3G networks, true GPS, and Microsoft Exchange server. The iPhone 3G also will support third-party applications available through the upcoming App Store. Its design is different as well, but not by much. Anyone will buy the iPhone 3G?

Sounds great, it costs only $199 or $299, so I will get one to have a try.

Ever since Apple announced that they're cutting $200 from the iPhone's price and lowering the iPhone 3G down to $199, people have been rumbling about how the increased AT&T data plan price negates any savings you get up front on the phone. IT'S NOT ACTUALLY CHEAPER, APPLE IS FOOLING US. I do not know what about the iPhone 3G?

The single iPhone 3G without AT&T service costs $499 and $599, I am wondering if I should get one tomorrow.
helosyaooa
I already have a comparable smartphone from AT&T and a two-year service contract. Can I buy the iPhone 3G for the $199 price and simply restart my contract?
tustinssbus
t depends on when you started your initial AT&T contract. To get the $199 price tag, you have to meet AT&T's upgrade eligibility criteria. We'll know more on that later.
