So, I'm heading to S'pore tomorrow for like a 1 day trip via car and will see if I have time to go visit Cathay Photo.

I'm thinking of getting a cheap(er) tripod of ~RM300-400 range ones. Not those Mamiya though I saw that CP has the mayima AY703 at S$375 IIRC on offer.

If anyone wants me to get something for them, I am OK, but of course got % involved lah.

Let me know ASAP.

@Leviathan :

Could you please help me buy Lensmate for Canon PowerShot G9?
Sauce: http://www.lensmateonline.com/newsite/G7.html

Kindly reply me to talk about it.
Thanks!

Can. I saw online price = 27 USD which is ~85RM which is ~36SG.

Do you know the actual price in SG? How much is the max you willing to pay for it? So I don't need to bother to SMS you if the price is > your max price.
LEVIATHAN
Max RM100, no problem.

Aisay man.. I left M'sia at ~1pm on Sat. The Drive down to .sg was painful and slow. It was raining VERY heavily at some stretches all along the way. Ended up, when I reached S'pore it was already 6+pm.

I decided that I will try to go later. When I went to CP website, I saw that they do not open on Sunday!!!!! What a PAIN!

So, my report is that.

1. I Saved Money.
2. I got myself a gift though. (see later thread I open)
LEVIATHAN
So you didn't bought the stuff eh?

John 3:16 in next door Funan IT mall is also a reasonable place to shop with friendly people. But just like Cathay Photo, their prices aren't the cheapest.

If you can make your way to Ang Mo Kio (near the MRT), you can shop at MS Color. They are the cost-competitor to Cathay Photo. Shaw Towers near the National Library has TK Photos which you can check out.

Be patient and wise when shopping. Do your price comparison homework beforehand, as there are many unscrupulous camera saleperson in S'pore that will love to cheat tourists and newbies.
