Anyone know where to get a list of Soundstream Authorized dealer?

In garage sales, a lot of peoples selling XSC6 at ridiculous price, I really dun dare to get 1 from them. Anyone know what is the market for this model?

i tot XSC 6 itself is an imitation model? all the while i see picasso series only seemed to be more "genuine" instead..

XSC6 is an imitation model? I dun really get u, I've done a survey in garage sales, a lot of peoples selling XSC6 at rm250-300, while some selling it at rm380 n above claim that those below this price r mostly imitation. N I've searched other forum as well, most peoples also say that there r too many imitation SoundStream product in the market until very scary. That is y I am asking where to get genuine SoundStream product.

save up and buy something else?

now i feel want to change my front speaker. For comp set around 400...what are u suggest? more to SQ....

well my distributor is doing a stock clearance for picasso now before the 2008 model arrives from US. The new model looks slightly nicer, but same specs, and the old model picasso im selling at RM350 only, still has one year warranty from me and Mobile Audio Technology, so might as well take picasso than Xstream series.

Every seller who sells SS also claimed that it comes with 1 year warranty, but every sellers that sells SS product at higher price claimed that those under market price product r imitation eventhough it comes with warranty, n when u claim warranty, u will know wat happen. Wat can u explain to this?

Can listen to it first before purchase?

it's almost impossible to hear the true quality unless it's fixed.. like woofer outside and inside the box... someone correct me?

i've had no problems with that before, coz now the cost of that particular product dropped drastically due to new stock coming in, and some of the sellers still maintain high margin, so they come up with all kinds of excuses to kill the lower price market so they can actually make money. But the fact is, all sellers of this Picasso Component Set are getting the exact same model from the exact same supplier.

I suggest if you want to listen to the sound quality, you can pay a visit to 1 Utama Eneos car center, there are sample units built onto a full sample module that u can try out, and make sure when you are there, check out the PCC.6 there, and then you can compare with me. FYI they are selling at RM8XX, my supplier is the one who supplies them also.



yes it is true, the best way you can test a speaker is when it's fully installed. And there are many ways of actually installing component sets, every way has a diff sound effect, ranging from bolting on to the door panel itself, to building a wooden panel or a wooden template for cushion or even making fiber work.

Why soundstream? There are so much more than just Soundstream or Pegasus.

Probably because most of the lowyat forumers have no more than RM500 budget on speakers. Anything more than that, they rather buy a super duper graphic card for their pcs. hahaha!

If afraid of fake soundstream, then don't go for soundstream. Too many imitations, go for other brands, as simple as that.
