hey all i'm not very sure whether is this the right place to post a internet/isp based questions...
btw lets get to the point...
i was wondering can 1 connect to the internet using a unregistered tm landline...
such 1 has not registered to the streamyx but has all the equipment's (modem ..etc..) and also the login password....a valid one's...
is that possible....?

you canot if your house line nvr have streamyx connection b4.unless you subscribe to streamyx b4,and then you ended the contract.if they haven remove ur streamyx line port from their server(their work efficient is so-so),u stil can gain acess to streamyx with other valid user name or passwd.and you wont got charge even a penny.bcs you c...every new application,TM wil charge ACTIVATION FEE for rm75(this is for them to install a port that enable ur line to aces their streamyx svc)...and this question wil be more proper if post under networking tech support

Such action is also in a way breaking the their T&C because one account is to be used in one house/premise only. However, since your line did not have it's jumper set before, your phone line does not have DSL signal thus you can't connect even if you have a valid account.
