hi peeps,

i believe there are tonnes of Body Builder out here that hit the gym so frequently. i'm just new into this body building stuff, and i'm going to buy a lifting glove for myself as my palms are getting torn days by days. after some research, i've come to a brand Harbinger. i noticed that it's quite famous among body builders at the states.

among all of the products offered by Harbinger, i'm interested in Harbinger 1250 Training Grip WristWrap.

my question is, where is it available and how much it is sold locally? i found out that some local website is selling at RM140. is it worth it?

p/s: i'm thinking to get it from the states, since the price is cheaper. a friend of me might jump on board too. so i'm thinking if the responses are good, i might bulk it.

dont know owr... i am using a glove from 'body sculpture'... got it for rm30+... use for 3 years the wrist support lost its elasticity... try to get 1 with no rubber... and a lot of padding for ur palm... as well as spandex with holes for ventilation

Found out that my had gets those little hard spots with or without gloves! So I've been training without since then!

their website has a measurement chart, basically it's the circumference if your knuckles/fist.

That's not a fair statement bro. Some people's professions need smooth hands.

To the OP, Harbinger is known for its good quality. I've a friend who bought Harbinger lifting straps more than 5 years ago. They're still solid and strong. And this fella's deadlifting crazy poundages around the 600-700lb range. I say go for it, even though it may be a bit pricey. It's worth it.

Whatever lifting gloves you get, don't get the Nike one? Those gloves are expensive and doesn't last more than 1 year. I have tried like 2-3 of those.

They always go south real fast. I haven't tried the Harbinger one yet, definitely one I will try in the future. I am currently using the Everlast one, seems to be quite alright.

Please note that I need lifting gloves because my hands are very girly like, no idea why. Every time girls saw my hands, they wish they had my hands.....lol....except for the palm part because it's rough.

*Maybe I should be in hand modeling......hahahah

The glove you are looking for are still available at Egonutritions shop & website for RM138. The shop located in Aman Suria Damansara. For info, I tried that glove before but my fingers feel a bit numb, I dont have any idea why (maybe it just me) because the wrist wrap fit me just nice. Currently I'm using this. Got it for RM122 at the same place but its without w/wrap. Nice and good quality as well. Plus, its gives better grip. By the way, if you plan to bulk Harbinger products, please count me in.

ppl, i duno wats wrong wif my glove here, i used it for like 6month +, everything start to tear off or "shred" off ( the synthetic part) and the padding on the palms as well tore off. I tot it is very durable... but sumhow it dissapoint me... the only thing i love about this glove is the padding, u can really feel the diff... if it can improve on the durability part, it will be great.

Cheapo gloves will do. They won't last for long even the expensive ones.
silverwave
That's bad. Did you wet it before and dried under the sunlight?

Yea, i came across that in the website too. May i know which model is ur Harbinger?
kaspersky-fan
I think he is using 1250 training grip with wrist wrap too... the design is quite obvious in his picture he posted
silverwave
1250 training grip with wrist wrap has protection for the wrist part. I don't see that in this. See the yellow part in the picture.
kaspersky-fan
i think u can see it on the last picture...not so obvious.... but can see the thing hanging... havent wrapped to wrist yet
jamis
yaya i didnt wrap it up.

aww.. shit man shocking.gif shocking.gif

it felt so solid when i got them, never expect that.. i sold my gloves to my friend because it's somewhat not suitable for my palms. i have another pair, but different model. i rarely use gloves now, i just dont like the feeling of not being able to grip the whole oly bar.
jamis
sad.gifsad.gif yeah the first time i use it, it feels like my grip is really weak, tats y i use straps when i do deadlift. but still i love the padding and the straps on my wrist since last time i injurd my wrist while doing bicep curl (when i was noob and tot i m very strong) and the wrap helps. .... just tat the quality......
