When i press CTRL+ALT+DELETE, says "task manager has been disabled by your adsministrator."

how is this possible.? i am the adsministrator of my pc. help me quick. having lotsa problems. wink.gif

hahaha...i got that virus also ....
after my friend send me some links to clean ...that will come back after few time i restart my pc...
better reformat.



but u can try some of the below method

1. download and run combofix

2. download and run the fix task manager

another way is you can re-enable it from mmc (microsoft management console). hit button "start" and click "run" and type mmc on the field. after opening the console, click file>open then select a file named "gpedit" which can be found in the windows>system32 directory

then you can see a tree navigation on the left side. under "user configuration" tree click and collapse "administrative templates" and under "system" folder click ctrl+alt+del options, you should see on the right side there are 4 options, choose "remove task manager" and then right-click "properties" and then select the "disabled" radio button. that should be able to solve the problem biggrin.gif

just something I learn long time ago when messing with workstation pcs biggrin.gif

If you had ran combofix and had problems with your computer after that, you are on your own.

If you ran ComboFix without any supervision from malware analyst, I would suggest you not to use it at all. ComboFix is a dangerous tool and must be used under supervision.

No offence though but next time please do not recommend other people to run ComboFix unless you know how it works. biggrin.gif
