Just like to know is it common to connect a GPS to a touchscreen LCD monitor and whether the GPS can utilize the benefits of the touchscreen?

Also do we need external antennas for GPS?

Regarding the In car TV, is it possible to have good reception in Malaysia while moving? I heard Malaysia is not suitable for incar TV, also where will the antenna be installed? Can we do it without drilling holes?

a gps will be touch-enabled only if the map/software is design for it..most of the map will have this function

tv on car is not really satisfactory in malaysia, due to poor frequency reception and our poor radar system

But if the LCD and GPS are from different makers, can the touchscreen LCD function be used on the GPS say i'm connecting the GPS to LCD? Does it need another wire to have this function? Or only built in GPS can be used for touchscreen?

Also how many extra antennas do i need to install for all these functions? I can't find any antenna on my car right now so do i need to drill holes? shakehead.gif

it depends, most of the hardware and software are compatibles nowadays....

antenna depend on urself, normally a tv tuner will have 2 / 4 antenna input...but even u use 4 antenna, it does not guarantee that the reception will be clear....eventhough branded

You can use touch screen in some model directly and some of it you need to modified wiring system. It always us RGB connector from GPS to HU.
