Yeah, VGA is monitor cable.

The astro in my house, the best connection is S-video only.

The new astro max also uses S-video at best only.

astro resolution is not 16:9,
even if u got a nice LCD TV, either you stretch it..
or u watch it 4:3 way..

wasted the point of having HDready or HD TV.

Malaysia still doesn't have HD TV programs.. Hong Kong and Singapore is very common already.. anyway.. abit off topic leh..

Not only that. Astro resolution is way too low... Around VCD quality nia.... So kind of wasted for good display.

VGA is better than component.

i remember astro got show some Amazing Race Asia in HD format. dunno how true is that
