Can someone recommend me any good reliable mp3 software that enables me to edit my mp3 songs? I'm trying to edit my songs as my ringtones in my handphone. I just want certain parts of the song (e.g dont want 'head' and 'tail' of the song, just want the middle part). Cheers.

because audacity will convert mp3 to uncompressed wav file for editing, after that will need to re-encode to mp3(using lame library) again, if user choose to export to mp3 file.

while mp3directcut doesn't involved on any mp3<->wav conversion.
