Race Driver: GRID is the latest addition to the TOCA Touring Car series by Codemasters, published and developed by the same company. It was announced on April 19, 2007, and will be available on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, as well as Windows PCs. The game is due for release in June of 2008.[1]
Race Driver One will make use of Codemasters own Ego engine, an evolved version of the Neon engine already used in their previous release Dirt. The damage code is said to have been completely rewritten to allow for persistent damage environments.[2] GRID is also said to feature "the most extensive range of events in the TOCA Race Driver series, combining official circuit-based championships with road races and urban street competitions."
"Combining our racing heritage with the Neon engine, Race Driver One will create a world that goes far beyond the traditional boundaries of motorsport gaming, taking players from the most prestigious race circuits to road and street events around the globe. Added on March 27, 2008, 10:39 amAnyway, just as i predicted, the handling is between arcade and sim, Arcade as in you dont have to worry much about real world physics, and sim because you still have to brake for turns...

Yeah, I can confirm it's true. Their office is at KL Sentral. They just got their PS3 development kit last September if I'm not mistaken. Price almost 40 thousand.
