Im looking to change my broadband..

I dont want fixed line anymore

Its either maxis broadband or combo

is the combo 1 Mbps reliable?fast? I want this because I got a wlan router at home so can make wifi spot to share

I want maxis broadband because portablity..but can I use wif my wlan router to share it? hmm.gif

Maxis broadband=not very reliable.
Sometimes speed danm slow and sometimes cannot use!

Streamyx combo=Bolehlah... TM kasih line. Mahu pakai pakai, tak mahu potong je.
But I will still support streamyx. More reliable compare to Maxis.

How about Celcom? Anyone have comment?

If u want to use your wlan you better stick to streamyx. Im not sure how is your setup but make sure you know how to set.

Maxis to my knowledge is only for 1 pc (because of the adaptor).

Im not sure if they have a modem version. But you could still try and share it by using ad-hoc wlan from your laptop.

But, if you can wait, wait for other ISP to come up then only change. That way the competition should be nice rclxms.gif

Some said Maxis is good and stable but majority said Maxis is unreliable compared to Celcom 3G so I will be going for TMNet Streamyx since you gave only two choices at your poll. No matter how bad TMNet Streamyx service is in Malaysia, it is still one of the best if not the best in Malaysia and there is no denying it.

i m using maxis broadband...so far so good.....sometime i think depend on the area, that make the line & speed different..certain area only has Maxis, no TM...so..no choice if they want to use it...i am one of them...no choice only has Maxis... blink.gif
