I am currently using kaspersky antivirus 6.0.2.621...but i think my PC is infected some malicious software. The symptoms is sometimes CPU performance up to 100% even i just downloading ..it is happen suddenly.then i see the processes and i found that the process svchost.exe is running in high CPU usage around 80%, then my PC become so slow and not smooth...2nd symptom is my windows taskbar sometimes may suddenly change to classic version, i currently is using zunes desktop theme. So pls recommend me the antivirus that more secure..thanks for views and reply ..thanks...

Kaspersky antivirus is one of the most reliable and safe av. U have to on the registry protection so that virus cant attack ur registries. And if u have already done that and still get virus, i'm 100% sure u're the 1 who allowed the virus to be installed. Pls do a thorough scan and identify wat virus it is and update ur kaspersky.

u know,when u see fren they might recommend some antivirus.but at d end of d day,still hving problem wif virus infection..so keep changing lor.
but now stick wif avg.almost 2 yrs already..
but kasperky.. should be powerful enuf block those attack.if u keep updating dat antivirus.

registry protect actually means d software is trying to prevent ur registry changed by unknown software......

bos,try use panda.i use it for 2 years never infect with any virus,malware,adware or any bad things.hhehehe

1.Double click ur taskbar KAV icon.
2.Click the Protection on ur left side.
3.Click Proactive Defense.
4.On the right side press configure.
5.Check the Enable Registry Guard box.
6.Press OK and u're done.

For AVG users, u know why ur AVG always scan and say no virus? It is because their database don't recognize the virus and pass it. I was an AVG users few years back and thought that AVG is the best and i will stick to it. But after sometime i notice my pc getting 100%performance issues. I use AVG scan it tells me NO Virus. So i installed some other AV and it detected almost 48 viruses and trojans. =.= That was so shocking.And after some googling, i found out that AVG which i thought was a gem is actually a sh*t. So brothers and sisters, it's time to change. KAV 7.0 selling RM38 only. Get 1 for urself. Our forum has few ppl bulking them.

im having the exact same problem,100% usage and only firefox is on..updated my kaspersky and scanning now..very slow but hope it solves my problem..

If u found the virus file location and unable to disinfect, do not hesitate to delete it to prevent further damage done. If it says cant be deleted, then press CTRL+ALT+TAB. Find some suspicious tasks and end its process. Try delete again. Sometimes its because the virus is running in background thats why u're aren't allowed to delete.

i more using on nod 32 , kaspersky take a lot ram to move,

i use AVG so far so good, and it is free too

u can also try Avira antivirus...

nod32.. eset.. the best for me.. tried avg, antivir, panda, even mcafee..
