I'm still new using Adobe Flex 2.0 and I'm using it for my project.
Before I can begin the implementation, I need to know a few things:
1. Can I use PHP and MySQL for Adobe Flex?

2. Can use either ColdFusion or Apache as web server?

3. Do every user need to have Flash Player 9 in their web browser to view Flex application?

That is all for now, any help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

hi,
borrowing ur thread.
Im thinking about doing my project using adobe flex,
so far my knowledge about programming only in java and php,
where can i get student edition for adobe flex?
can i easily understand base on knowledge on other programming language.?
Thanks..

flex is opensource. u can download free flex sdk and plugin for eclipse.

as flex is xml based scripting, if u know xml, or html, it's kinda easy. if u need to dig into action scripting, it will need some time to understand and learn.

anyway, if u have the fundamental of programming, i think syntax is just something u need to get familiar with.

enjoy flex biggrin.gif
