Hi all,

Wish to seek some explaination on Maxis BB.

I have just subscribed the latest Maxis BB Wi-Fi Modem (E960) package - RM 158/month.

As the speed tested is below my expectation (which is around 1-200 during peak hour, 5-700 max during non-peak hour and I able to achieve HSPDA connection with strong signal), thinking of downgrading it to Power(RM98) package.

What's the differents between all those packages? As I know from inquiry to Maxis Centre, they said Starter (RM68)/Advanced(RM78)/Power(RM98) package are using same modem that will be affected by the height of my location (I am staying at 17th floor), while the USB modem (Rm138/month) and Wi-Fi Modem (E960) won't be affected much. Is that true?

Anyway..... paying Rm 158/month and get speed below 1Mbps is really disappointed.

Is that the Power package HSPDA modem having the same HSPDA signal reception capability as of the E960 Modem, or their are different, where Power package HSPDA modem has lower reception capability affected by height of location while E960 Modem don't?

Anyone can help to answer this?

Thx in advance.
