The following is one of the update they mention on the site :

Wondershaper
Starting with 1.7.5.9-4 there is a QoS support compiled into the kernel. Wondershaper script is called /sbin/wshaper, and should be started as follows (play with download & upload values to find optimal one, they should be something lesser than your modem/isp speed).

Preferred place for this is the /usr/local/sbin/post-firewall script. Mine line looks like this:

Bro,

First of all, this is just a WLAN router, and without the ADSL modem.

In order for you to use the 2 router together, you could just stack on the 2 router.

Meaning one of your LAN line from 1st router, will go into the 2 router, just like bridging the 2 router, so that you could share the only one line you have, and the ASUS wireless AP will broadcast signal for sharing also.

To use WRT is for sure can use, cos one of my router already FLASH to WRT FW as follow :



But you could also consider oleg's fw , which is also "INNOVATIVE"

Apart from that, if you are interested in upgrading the FW to a 3rd party firmware, which provide more functionalities, there possibilities is unlimited

Instead of this cool item U got, I brought a 2nd hand Asus WL500G Premium yesterday...hahaha
Now exploring the OpenWRT+X-WRT ( White Russian) firmware on my Linksys WRT54GL, once I got the asus..I plan to flash to OpenWRT Kamikaze firmware..

there are ton of forum and info around the net....need time to explore.

Not a problem, and good on you if you got a good condition 2nd hand unit

For my test, I have so far flash to DD-WRT , but find it more complicated the Oleg's FW , thus flash back to Asus Orginal FW , then upgrade to Oleg's FW.

Now able to have NFS, SAMBA, FTP and a WEB Server.

Besides that, am also able to use a USB hub to expand the USB port , but still exploring and playing

Come and share with you some tips if you have any there

Basically I would say most things is possible with this "baby" as FW is linux base.

But in order for further function, 3rd party open source FW is recommended, but at your own risk

There are a lot of forum discussion providing very details information on how to upgrade or flash the FW.

For sure this router is able to flash to DD-WRT as follow, but I personally find that Oleg's FW is much easier, and once flash, one will have additional SAMBA and NFS, apart from FTP and USB function (** Flash at your OWN RISK bro ) :

However, the developer seems is base in russia or somewhere where they seldom speak english :

Yes, supported USB hub.
USB printer support is very limited, not recommend to use such function.
Not sure on parallel, as I am using WL500g premium.
Tested with external USB harddisk connected to the hub, used as swap file and samba sharing.
