Hi Guys


After researching all the threads about Ps3, all the ups and downs about it. I finally decided to get me self a Ps3. Just bought today actually from none other than Bernard(friendly fellow).

Sokay here's the problem. Can i watch normal DVD's on it? I asked Bernard/Crystal about it but they say it is not recommended., cause it might damaged the lens. But i read that Ps3 is a great way to upscale your DVD movies so why is that watching DVD movies might harm the lens.
Anyway for your information i'ma watching ORI DVD not pirated one.

So do any of you Ps3 sifu's actually watched DVD movies on your Ps3? Or did you all succumb to the might of Blu-Ray and decided to not watch normal DVD movies anymore?

Oh yeah and what DVD region can my asian 40gb Ps3 play?
