is there any flash units that can get almost the same function compare to canon 580ex but at a cheaper price. I had a 20 years old flash unit, it need almost 30s to charge for another shot which i think is hard for this digital era. my old flash unit is sync at 1/125 so anything fro 1/60 to 1/125 is still acceptable. but the hardest problem is i have to manually select all the functions, eg, how far is the object, bla bla............

i never used a 580ex before and it cost a boom for me, even SB-800 dont cost that much, so i wonder is there any 3rd party flash units that i fairly good?
